About the Artist

Recently graduated from Brigham Young University- Idaho, Aubrilyn Forson continues her passion for depicting the human figure in clay. Originally from Oregon, she now creates her works from her apartment in Boston. Her most recent pieces have revolved around fairytale subjects, where she depicted a number of old tales for her senior show at BYU-I. Although her subject matter may deviate occasionally to include religious or personal works, Aubrilyn prefers to depict portraits and the human figure, regardless of the backstory.

Aubrilyn graduated with her BFA in Sculpture and was awarded multiple Merit Awards from her sculpture entries in the student art shows of BYU-I. Her work “Simon” was awarded 3rd place in the juried show at the Idaho Art Museum, and she was a finalist in the 7th edition of the Boynes Emerging Arist Award compeition.
